Milled Grind Wedge Satin

Drawing inspiration for the world’s best golfers, Milled Grind (MG) wedges use advanced surface milling techniques to ensure precise sole geometry, leading edges, and score lines. The result is a precisely crafted grind on each and every wedge that produces optimal turf interaction and consistent performance.

Finding the perfect grind geometry was one of the primary development stages in which TaylorMade relied on input from Tour players. To craft the wedges to exacting specifications, each leading edge and sole grind is individually surface milled for unparalleled accuracy. A low effective bounce (LB) grind provides the least amount of ground resistance, a standard grind (SB) has a median ground resistance, and a high bounce (HB) grind features a wider sole that offers the most ground resistance.

Milled Grind wedges also exhibit a deeper bore and shaft insertion than previous wedges, going from 1.0 inch to 1.5 inches—resulting in a soft, red polymer-filled Precision Weight Port located toward the heel of every sole. The deeper bore, while providing an improved shaft connection, also removes weight from the hosel to be relocated into a more centrally located position, which improves the center of gravity (CG), making the club more solid and more forgiving.

A new and improved groove configuration is also incorporated into the faces of each new wedge. These soft 8620 carbon steel wedges promise to be the most precise, best balanced, and best feeling wedge that TaylorMade has ever produced.

P730

Designed specifically for the best Tour players in the world, P730 represents the most finely crafted irons TaylorMade has to offer. Taking direct feedback from our top athletes, the Tour-inspired shaping features improvements over previous TPMBs, including a smaller blade profile, refined leading edge, and crisp lines. Starting with P730’s forged 1025 carbon steel head, the face and grooves have been precision-milled to produce soft feel, clean turf interaction, and exceptional shot-shaping ability.

P750

The Tour demands perfection, P750 delivers. P750 Tour Proto irons are reserved for the best ball-strikers—players who prefer a more compact, forged clubhead for precise shotmaking and immediate feedback through impact.

P750 raises the standard by providing superior performance and feel in a design that delivers optimum workability. This true forged blade with shallow cavity, made of 1025 carbon steel, is created using a new, multi-step forging process that culminates with a high tonnage strike—three times more forceful than a standard forged press. This process ensures perfect, near-net head shaping that requires minimal hand polishing, resulting in a pure players iron with soft feel. The face and grooves are CNC milled for high precision, as is as the back cavity of the iron. The extra step of milling the cavity ensures that the face thickness, CG position, and weight distributing are maintained to the highest standard demanded by the best players.

P750 irons feature a thin topline (thinner than the P770) and minimal offset for a blade-like look preferred by our Tour players. Additionally, the P750 irons incorporate a narrower sole and tighter leading edge for improved turf interaction. Similar to the P770, P750 includes tungsten weighting (5 grams precisely located in the sole) in the 3-7 irons that allows for perfectly positioned CG for optimal trajectory and shotmaking.

P770

P770 irons utilize an advanced forging process to create a pure and simple head shape that appeals to the better player’s eye. Combined with precision-milled faces and grooves, P770 provides golfers with soft-solid feel at impact and performance that is both workable and forgiving.

In P770, engineers worked to deliver a true Tour iron for highly skilled players while simultaneously providing playability improvements that create a great playing experience. P770 features a uniquely forged 1025 carbon steel face/hosel and precision-milled faces and grooves along with 70-gram tungsten back-bar weighting in the mid and long irons (3-7) and a one-piece forged cavity back construction in the short irons (8-AW) for added feel and control. The P770 iron has higher MOI for ball speed consistency, thus more forgiveness, and has a lower center of gravity, which creates a higher launch angle than its predecessors. The result is a high-performance iron with improved playability and great sound & feel.

Based on input from Tour, P770 was designed with carefully considered contours, including progressive offset, a thin topline, and a tight leading edge to promote an appealing look at address and crisp, clean contact. Further enhanced by a flatter, medium cambered sole, P770 also offers improved turf interaction after impact.

M CGB

M CGB pushes the limit of irons engineering for maximum distance throughout the entire set. Starting with a <2mm face thickness, every iron achieves consistently high COR, making it our fastest set from 4-PW ever. Combine this with ultra-low CG placement, and golfers will achieve high trajectory and optimized spin rates.

Beyond distance, M CGB delivers full-face forgiveness throughout the bag. With a multi-material head construction, Speed Pocket technology, and Face Slots, M CGB creates high MOI with increased ball speed across the entire clubface for amazing consistency, even on mis-hits.

Further enhanced with Geocoustic engineering, golfers will experience finely tuned sound and feel. The precision-shaped head, featuring an advanced Hybrar damper and 3D sound-managing badge, works to dampen vibrations and soften feel for exceptional shot-making ability.

M1

In 2017, TaylorMade introduces the M1 irons — an entirely new line that packs the distance and forgiveness of M2 irons in a more compact shape for improved control. M1 irons have been crafted to bring as much of the speed, forgiveness, and playability of the M2 irons, but deliver it to the player who prefers a slightly more refined look along with additional control and workability.

M1 irons feature both Speed Pocket Technology and Face Slots, which are designed to increase flexibility at the boundaries of the clubface to improve consistency of ball speed on off-center impacts. This combination of technologies is designed to produce longer, higher shots with improved consistency and dispersion on all shots.

With a smaller overall head size, reduced offset, thin toplines, and shorter blade lengths, M1 irons are more compact than traditional distance irons and provide a confidence-inducing look at address. The result is a visual appearance at address suited for the aspirational and better players while offering performance typically found in modern distance irons.

GEOCOUSTIC TECHNOLOGY

Similar to the new M2 irons, the M1 irons also implement TaylorMade’s Geocoustic engineering; acoustics tuned through geometry. TaylorMade’s fin badge is a feature that works in conjunction with Face Slots to dampen unwanted low frequency, long duration sounds. The sound of the M1 is optimized using thin-yet-stiff head geometry combined with strategically placed reinforcements in the topline. The resulting sound is then dampened using a very stiff fin badge connecting the back of the flexible face to the stiff back bar of the iron for optimal sound damping.

M2

The 2017 M2 irons give golfers the complete performance package with low CG, Speed Pocket technology, Face Slots, and Geocoustic engineering—it’s our most technologically advanced distance iron. Each technology in M2 irons works together to help golfers achieve more distance, peak trajectory, and forgiveness—overall, a more consistently performing iron swing after swing.

New to M2 irons, engineers incorporated Face Slots that help preserve ball speed on shots struck toward the heel or toe, giving golfers more distance and more control—making your mis-hits better and your best shots extraordinary.

Additionally, the M2 irons incorporate a new thin-wall Speed Pocket, designed to increase face flexibility and protect ball speed on strikes below face-center while also increasing launch angle and ball speed.

Further improvements include a new thinner, wider, six-sided Fluted Hosel that saves 5 grams (compared to 3 in the original M2 iron), allowing for the repositioning of 2 grams of discretionary weight lower in the clubhead. The new hosel bend slot also allows for a 30% improvement in bending.

Similar to the M2 metalwoods, the new M2 irons were designed employing TaylorMade’s new Geocoustic™ engineering techniques; acoustics tuned through geometry to create ideal frequencies for pleasing sound & feel.

M2 Tour

The 2017 M2 Tour fairway features M2 horsepower in a smaller shape preferred by the better player. The refined shape and size provides a compact look at address while a more forward weight port improves workability.

Like the standard M2 fairway, M2 Tour fairway comes with a recessed 6-layer carbon composite crown, Inverted Cone Technology, and a new Geocoustic sole design. Additionally, the longer, more flexible Speed Pocket and lighter Fluted Hosel create a low CG that produces fast ball speeds for an incredibly long, high-launching, and low-spinning fairway.

TAYLORMADE’S LONGEST ADJUSTABLE FAIRWAY

The all-new M1 fairway delivers power and personalization through multi-material construction and improved adjustability. Constructed with a 450 stainless steel body and strong Ni-Co C300 face, the 2017 M1 fairway features the same 6-layer Carbon composite crown as the M1 driver. Completely redesigned and reshaped from last year’s fairway, the new M1 fairway includes a more intuitive sliding weight system and a new open-channel Speed Pocket designed to deliver more ball speed & more forgiveness.

Similar to the M1 driver, a carbon fiber crown is bonded onto the head of the new M1 fairway by way of the same FF2FF manufacturing process. With multi-material construction, a sliding weight track, a Speed Pocket, and FF2FF bonding, M1 is TaylorMade’s longest adjustable fairway.

PERSONALIZED DISTANCE AND VERSATILITY

The 2017 M1 Rescue™ Hybrid features improved distance and versatility with the first-ever sliding weight track in a Rescue club. With a moderate size, Tour-proven shape, and a newly designed sole, the new M1 RescueTM Hybrid offers more playability from an increased variety of lies.

The new sliding weight track makes the new M1 Rescue™ Hybrid the company’s most adjustable hybrid ever, providing golfers the opportunity to not only experience the neutral/fade biases of its predecessor, but also the added option of a draw setting—as well as anything in between—for ultimate shot shape adjustability and personalization.

In addition to the new 27g sliding weight track and advanced sole design, the head comes equipped with a new 3-degree, ultra-lightweight, aluminum Loft Sleeve.

M1 Rescue will be offered in 17° (2), 19° (3), 21° (4) and 24° (5) options while LH models will be offered in 19° and 21° options.

M2

DESIGNED FOR DISTANCE AND PLAYABILITY

The 2017 M2 Rescue™ Hybrid features the iconic two-tone crown of the M Metalwoods Family and new innovative performance technologies, creating a versatile Rescue club with exceptional sound and feel. The sole of the club houses a longer, more flexible Speed Pocket, which offers speed and forgiveness on low-face strikes.

Geocoustic technology further improves the club’s performance through advanced geometry and sound engineering. The shaping of M2 Rescue™ Hybrid includes a two-tiered sole to promote added playability from a variety of lies. The new sole design and a short, fluted hosel also work in tandem to optimize sound and feel at impact while lowering the CG.

This Rescue is designed to help average golfers replace a long iron with higher, longer, and more draw-biased performance.

M2 Rescue will be offered in 19° (3), 22° (4), 25° (5) and 28° (6) lofts while LH models will be offered in 19°, 22° and 25° lofts.

M2

The 2017 M2 driver brings golfers a new level of distance and forgiveness through all-new GeocousticTM technology. Following in the footsteps of its predecessor, the M2 driver successfully raises the bar in design and engineering through reinvented multi-material construction and advanced geometric shaping. Along with the new Geocoustic design, the M2 driver houses a new Speed Pocket that is three times more flexible than it was in the original M2. Combined, the new M2 takes the #1 selling driver to the next level of performance for all players.

The new lower density 9-1-1 Titanium body, 6-layer carbon composite crown and minimal sound ribs allowed for 25g of discretionary mass to be relocated low and back in the sole of the club. Together, these applications combine to increase the overall inertia of the M2 driver without sacrificing low CG, hot trajectory, or aerodynamic performance.

GEOCOUSTIC TECHNOLOGY

The new Geocoustic feature combines geometry and acoustical engineering to unlock more forgiveness and best-in-class sound. The new breakthrough in geometry comes from the sunken sole portion of the driver. This section utilizes ultra-light, thick-thin 9-1-1 Titanium—a design that enabled engineers to free up volume without raising the center of gravity.

The breakthrough in acoustical engineering was achieved by the new sunken sole curvature, making it stiffer and easier to manage vibrations caused at impact. With this added stiffness, minimal externalized sound ribs were needed to create best-in-class sound and feel of the M2.

The M2 is equipped with a new 4° aluminum Loft Sleeve featuring 12 easily adjustable settings.

M1

The all-new M1 driver takes multi-material construction to the next level to deliver distance, forgiveness and complete personalization. Featuring a new 6-layer carbon crown and additional carbon toe panel, the 2017 M1 driver has 43% more carbon than last year’s model. The additional focus on multi-material construction saves weight to enable lower CG for better launch conditions and allows for an expanded T-Track for improved adjustability.

TaylorMade engineers relied on proven internal acoustic management techniques and modified them as necessary to meet the demands of new materials and shaping. The result: the re-definition of best-in-class sound by controlling vibration and pitch at impact. Combined with external performance technologies, TaylorMade has delivered maximum distance and forgiveness through multi-material construction and complete personalization for every swing.

COMPLETE PERSONALIZATION:

New T-Track System

A redesigned T-Track system with more moveable weight and a longer back track allows for 64% more front-to-back CG movement than the original M1. Adjust the front track (15g) modify left-to-right trajectory and move the back track (12g) forward for lower ball flight and more distance, or adjust it farther back for higher ball flight and more forgiveness.

New Ultra-Lightweight Loft Sleeve

4° aluminum Loft Sleeve features 12 easily adjustable settings to dial in your loft and face angle without going to a golf shop.

Additionally, the iconic two-tone crown of the M1 driver is precision-fit to the skeletal titanium body using an FF2FF process—a breakthrough engineering technique that results in craftsmanship of the highest quality with manufacturing repeatability for a consistent, aggressive appearance and undeniable performance.
