It's not often that a product comes along that is so widely adopted and embraced by the most demanding and discriminating players in the World.
Our Diamana Series has achieved that, and we've got the wins to prove it. No other driver shaft accounts for more wins last year on the PGA TOUR®...no other brand even comes close. Diamana has also racked up numerous wins on the European PGA Tour® and the LPGA Tour®.
There's a simple reason the Diamana Series has been so popular with the best players in the world. They win with it.
How do we build on the remarkable success of the Original Diamana Series? Take feedback from the best players in the world and incorporate it into the Next Generation Diamana Series.
The Next Generation Diamana Series, the Kai 'li & 'ilima, builds on the Tour proven profiles of the Original Diamana Series, incorporating a revolutionary new technology - MDI (Multi-Dimensional Interlay) Technology.
MDI Technology is a proprietary process unique to Mitsubishi Rayon. By strategically layering sheets of ultra-thin carbon fiber in different directions throughout the entire length of the shaft, we can precisely control lateral and torsional stiffness and stability with amazing accuracy.
The end benefit? MDI technology gives the shaft maximum resilience when storing and releasing energy, while reinforcing it for stability and control. It does this with a precision never before available.
All Fubuki Flexes and Weights are in Stock!
The creation of FUBUKI® using MDT technology has been in development for nearly two years and has resulted in a variety of prototype structures that are designed to deliver outstanding consistency in launch and back spin, while minimizing shaft deformation at impact. The FUBUKI shaft was released as a prototype on the PGA Tour in early 2008 and has been in play at more than 15 different PGA Tour events in 2008 and has already registered its first official wins on the PGA Tour and European PGA Tour in 2008.
The FUBUKI series is available in 63 and 73 gram weights and variable flex offerings.

For 2009 Matrix is launching the new TP HD and HD series.
So far the TP HD has been used by such players as Anthony Kim,
Camillo Villegas and many more.
Matrix created new levels of structural strength and combined them with advancements in spin control. “HD” refers to the hexadecagonal (16-sided) internal platform on which the designs are built. With the stronger 16-cut butt section, Matrix engineers were able to better structure and strengthen the tip section without adding overall weight and, at time, even lowering balance points to better match today’s high MOI, low CG heads. The result is a stronger tip-strength-to-weight ratio than found with any previous Matrix OZIK.
The internal HD structure can be made more consistently uniform than a circular deign, further reducing the need for specific orientation during installation.
In terms of performance, players should look forward to flatter, more piercing Tour-type ball flights and a more stable feeling than they have ever experienced with a Matrix OZIK shaft.

Fujikura Wins Driver, All Woods Count at Northern Trust LA Open!
New Motore F1 Shaft Helps Drive Win!
Vista, CA - February 20, 2009 Fujikura won the Driver and All Woods shaft brand counts which includes hybrids at the Northern Trust Los Angeles Open this week.
Fujikura’s new Motore Series is driving its leadership position as 14 shafts were in play in drivers, woods and hybrids at the tournament. Its new Motore F1 was the leading driver shaft.
“This win is exciting because more and more of the new Motore shafts, especially the Motore F1 are being played every week”, says Dave Schnider, President/COO of Fujikura. “This leadership position proves that the Motore F1 is the hottest, fastest growing shaft brand on the PGA Tour, and becoming the hottest, fastest growing shaft in golf.”
“We’re thrilled with the success of the Motore series, and particularly with the increase in Motore F1 in play in drivers,” says Mike Sposa, Fujikura Tour Representative and former PGA Tour pro. “These pros strongly validate the powerful partnership between Fujikura and our OEM partners to develop and produce these superior performance clubs.”
The new Motore series shafts are available now through Fujikura’s Charter Dealers across the United States and around the world. The Motore Series shafts feature Fujikura’s proprietary and proven H.I.T. which stores more energy during the downswing and releases the energy just before impact, while maintaining the stability of the entire club. The result is greater distance and accuracy in all clubs. Motore’s “smart” shaping of the tip enables these benefits while minimizing weight, allowing the tip end to accelerate faster than conventional tips.
Fujikura’s Tour leadership was highlighted by being the leading driver shaft brand at all the Tour majors in 2008. The brand’s dominant leadership position reinforces Fujikura’s position as the PGA Tour’s #1 Driver and Wood shaft brand for the last eight years.
